Sequence

Sequence:

Sequence
In film, a sequence is a series of scenes that form a distinct narrative unit, which is usually connected either by unity of location or unity of time. For example a heist film might include an extended recruitment sequence in which the leader of the gang collects together the conspirators, a robbery sequence, an escape sequence, and so on. Each of these sequences might further contain sub-sequences; for example the robbery sequence might consist of an entry sequence, a safe-cracking sequence and so on.

Then he gets a message telling him everything.

What is a script

Introduction :

In this presentation I shall attempt to understand the purposes of a script. To this I shall cover:

What is a script :

A script is basically the blueprint of a movie or any related media platforms. It is basically the outline or the story of the to be created piece

Type of scripts :

There are different types of scripts such as theatre script, radio scripts, AV scripts, TV scripts and film scripts.

A theatre script looks like the image on the right, and from what I can see and tell the theatre script seems to be more focused on the dialogue alone and nothing else as it is a stage play so there's no need to camera's and such. A theatre script consists of a short dialogue line for the characters which is labelled by their character roles.

A radio script contains details about the type of program and the title of it and who it is hosted by etc. Furthermore the script contains more details about the dialogue of the individuals and has lines about sound effects to make it easier for the individuals to visualize the script.

An AV script displays two sides one which shows the description of the video side of the program and the audio side of the program. In other words it's just the technical information of what's on the screen.

A T.V script and a film script are more or less the same however a film script is opened to interpretations as the producer can take over the script and change some few things about it although it does depend on the power of the producer whereas a t.v script is not as much opened to interpretations and doesn't require as much locations as the films.
